Meet Doc Thomas: Root-Cause Health Coaching for Whole-Body Wellness

Mission

My mission is to help individuals rebuild health naturally through holistic health coaching, detox support, and root-cause functional wellness strategies.

I guide clients who feel depleted, inflamed, overwhelmed, stuck, or chronically unwell toward greater balance, resilience, and vitality. My work is centered on supporting the body’s natural ability to heal, regulate, and restore through practical, whole-body health principles.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I help clients explore the underlying stressors that may be contributing to imbalance — including nutrition, lifestyle, detoxification, nervous system stress, environmental exposure, and long-standing patterns that affect overall wellness.

My Holistic Approach

My holistic health coaching approach begins with listening.

Every person’s health story is different, so I take time to understand your symptoms, history, lifestyle, stressors, and goals. From there, I help identify patterns that may be contributing to imbalance and create a practical wellness plan designed to support better function.

Care may include functional health education, nutrition guidance, detox pathway support, nervous system regulation, lifestyle strategies, and personalized coaching. The goal is not a quick fix, but steady progress toward resilience, vitality, and long-term wellness.

Why I Do What I Do

My passion for natural health began early in life at my Granny’s kitchen table.

Some of my first memories are of sitting with her as she prepared breakfast, often with hot lemonade and extra Vitamin C. Granny was what many people today would call an herbalist. She understood vitamins, minerals, natural remedies, and the importance of supporting the body before problems became larger. As a curious five-year-old, I became fascinated with one simple question: what helps the body heal, and why?

That question became personal when I woke up one morning with torticollis, often called “wryneck.” My neck had spasmed to one side and was stuck at an unnatural angle. The pain was intense. Any attempt to move felt unbearable.

My mother, who was a nurse, tried to help, but I was in too much pain to let her touch me. She called my Granny, who said, “Bring him to me, and I’ll take him to my doctor.”

That doctor was Dr. Kramiin, a former electrical engineer who had developed instruments to help detect nerve interference and inflammation. He carefully evaluated me, explained what he believed was happening in a way I could understand, and adjusted the areas of spinal dysfunction. The intense neck pain resolved quickly, and I was amazed.

As I started to get up, he stopped me and said, “I’m not done yet. There’s an issue in your lower back.”

I told him, “But my lower back doesn’t hurt.”

He explained something that changed the way I understood the body: dysfunction does not always create pain, especially when motor nerves are involved. After he adjusted my lower back, another long-standing childhood issue changed as well — I stopped wetting the bed.

That experience shaped the rest of my life.

Dr. Kramiin helped me understand that the nervous system influences far more than pain. Sensory nerves allow us to feel, while motor nerves control movement and function. That early lesson sparked my lifelong study of functional neurology, chiropractic principles, and the role the nervous system plays in whole-body health.

Over the years, I came to believe that true healing requires looking deeper than symptoms alone. Conventional medicine has an important place, especially in emergency and acute care, but my own path led me toward root-cause wellness, natural health, detoxification, nutrition, and functional approaches that support the body’s ability to regulate and repair.

Today, that same passion guides my work. I help people better understand their bodies, identify patterns of imbalance, and take practical steps toward renewed health, vitality, and resilience.
